Scriptures to Review: Mark 2:1-12

–        Can you think of any examples of amazing things that God has done that has shaped and strengthened your faith and/or your witness? How was your faith/witness impacted?

–        What do you think the paralyzed man and his friends thought when, at first, Jesus said “your sins are forgiven” instead of first healing him?

–        Read Psalm 139:1-2, 23-24. How do these passages make you feel?

–        How do we reconcile the belief that only God forgives sins (v.7) with what Jesus says to the disciples in John 20:23?

–        Read Mark 2:12. What does it practically look like to live a life of praise?
