At Trinity Church, we long to become disciples of Jesus - being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what Jesus did. We strive to provide authentic environments of worship and study that draw people into the presence of God.
We invite you to be a part of our community and grow in your faith alongside others who are also learning to be more like Jesus.
How you accomplish a mission is important. We long to live out these values in a way that makes God look good.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” - Matt. 7:24
Our teaching cannot be one person’s opinion, but founded in the truth of Scripture and communicated through a Biblical worldview.
““...offer your bodies as a LIVING sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your TRUE and PROPER worship.” - Rom. 12:1
We strive to provide authentic environments of worship that draw people into and remove any distraction from the presence of God.
“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” - Rom. 12:10
Our nurture ministries focus on the loving relationships within the body of Trinity. Men and women gather together to provide meals for events as well as shut-ins. They also help keep a pulse on the congregations needs and areas to be celebrated!
“The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...” - Matt. 20:26-28
We don’t want to be an exclusive club, but a body focused on reaching the lost and serving those in Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the Earth. We cannot make excuses because Jesus, our example, was obedient to the point of death.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
There is one God who exists eternally in the Triune Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who took on flesh (Incarnation) and came to live with humanity.
Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life.
He was born of a virgin, was crucified, died, and was buried.
Three days later God brought Jesus back from the grave.
It is only by grace through faith in the miraculous power of God through Jesus that defeats sin, death, and punishment for sinful humanity.
The Holy Spirit, given by the Father and sent by the Son is of one substance, majesty, and glory with the Father and the Son.
The Scripture is the inspired and infallible word of God containing all things necessary for salvation and is authoritative for the Christian faith and practice.
We want to be with Jesus so we can become like Jesus, so we can do what He did.
This takes learning and growing and practice. No one is perfect.
Come as you are, be loved, love others, and plan to encounter God in corporate worship.
The body of believers now known as the Trinity has a rich history in the Frewsburg community that stretches over several decades and includes many denominations.
In 1978, Weidler UMC and Frewsburg UMC began joint worship at the Frewsburg United Methodist Church. Through excellent leadership and God’s grace and blessing Frewsburg United Methodist rapidly grew.
In 1997, Frewsburg UMC merged with Trinity Chapel to become Trinity United Methodist Church. The Frewsburg UMC building was utilized as a youth and young adult center (now the community ministry The Relief Zone, Inc.) and an addition was put on Trinity Chapel to accomodate the growth of the congregation. The current worship facility is the outcome of that merger and construction effort.
In 2023, the congregation voted to transition our affiliation to the Global Methodist Church. Trinity has a rich history of Methodist and non-denominational believers who were and continue to be dedicated to expanding the kingdom of God for His glory!
