Scriptures to Review:
Mark 6:6-13

–        Share about a meaningful outreach ministry experience you have had. Which of the 10 Characteristics did you notice the most? Which may have been lacking?

–        Do you think all disciples, including those today, are empowered to cast out demons or was that empowerment meant just for the 12 at that time?

–        Have you ever explored what your spiritual gifts might be? If so, what are they? How have you used them to bless others?

–        Read Mark 6:8-9 together. Does this mean that being planned out and prepared is unfaithful? What does this kind of reliance look like today?

Read Mark 6:11 together. Is Jesus instructing that we give up on people if they aren’t receptive to our ministry? If not, what is Jesus saying? What does this look like in our context?
