- What does it practically look like for us to be like John the Baptist and “make straight paths” (Matt 3:3) for the Lord? How is that connected to righteousness?
- How can Christ-followers be “bold un upholding truth” without coming across as unloving, judgmental, jerks? Or should we just not be concerned about how we are perceived?
- RC Sproul says “Jesus not only had to die for our sins, but he had to live for our righteousness.” What do you think that means? Do you agree/disagree? How does Jesus’ life make us righteous? Does it have anything to do with Romans 4:1-5?
- If it is Jesus’ LIFE that makes us righteous, what do we do with 2 Corinthians 5:21?
- Why do you think Jesus wanted to be baptized? What does Jesus’ baptism have to do with Him fulfilling all righteousness? (Matt 3:15)
