Scriptures to Review: Exodus Chapters 15-17

–        It was said in the message: “There are times that God leads us through the wilderness…there are challenges and struggles that God brings us to for the purposes of equipping and preparing us for the ways God wants to use us to glorify Him and to bless the world.”

–        Do you agree with that statement? Why/Why not? What would you add or remove?

–        Share about a wilderness experience you have had. Looking back, did God use that time to strengthen you? How?

–        Read Exodus 17:8-13. Who has helped you find God’s victory as you walked through the wilderness?

–        Read Exodus 16:26-29. What is your approach to sabbath? Why is it so often neglected?

–        Compare the Israelites’ wilderness experience in Exodus 15-17 with Jesus’ wilderness experience in Matthew 4:1-11. What is similar? What is different?
