Hebrews Chapter 2
– Why is it crucial to understand Jesus as both 100% God and 100% Human? What changes if we view Him as 50% God, 50% Human?
– Read Hebrews 2:10. What is your reaction to God choosing to save you? If God chooses to save us, what is our role in being/becoming saved?
– How do you feel about Jesus calling you is brother/sister? (v.11/12).
– It was shared in the sermon, “…we participate in the transformation and holiness that God wants for us.” What does it look like to play an active role in becoming more holy?
– Read Hebrews 2:1. What do you think it means/looks like to “drift”? How do truths about Jesus’ divinity (ch.1) and humanity (ch.2) help keep us from drifting?
