  1. What or Where would you say is your perfect place of rest? What makes it restful for you?
  2. Read through Hebrews 4:1-11 silently on your own. What word or phrase stands out most to you?
  3. What are some examples of people in scripture who were “restless” due to their disobedience to God?
  4. Hebrews 4:3 says “…we who have believed enter that rest…”. What do you think this means?
  5. Share your reaction to this quote from Saint Augustine: “Because God has made us for Himself, our hearts are restless until they rest in Him.”
  6. Can you think of examples of Jesus offering people rest?
