Questions for Reflection or Small Groups:

1. What is something that gives you “joy”?

2. What is something lately that has “tested” your faith and what would help you to “persevere?

3. What does it look like to have an ACTIVE faith vs. a PASSIVE faith?

4. Why is it that those with so little (the poor) can ultimately have greater joy than those with so much?

5. How does it feel to hear that our “own evil desire” is what causes us to sin and not an outside source?

6. What does it mean for us that God does not change? And do you agree with that statement (why or why not)?
